  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  • Work remotely completely from home.
  • Teleperformance will mail you a laptop, you will use that laptop to do your live translation.
  • Translate and interpret live incoming calls from America verbally from Mandarin to English and vice versa on the spot, you are basically the middle person of a phone call between two people.
  • This position is a full-time position under a 1-year contract.
  • If you were to complete your contact, an offer will be made to you to either extend your contract or to offer you a permanent position with Teleperformance.
  • Should you wish to resign before your contract is served, you will have to provide 2 months’ notice period.
  • Failing in providing a notice will result in a penalty.

Working Hours:

- Schedules are fixed on a rotational shift subject to change monthly.

  • 1st month (Training Month)

Interpreter's School Training Schedule (Mon – Fri)

Week 1: 7 PM - 3 AM

Week 2: 8 PM - 4 AM

Week 3: 9 PM - 5 AM

Week 4: 9 PM - 5 AM

  • Time slots after 1st month training may start any time after 6PM. For example, if you get a time slot that starts at 9PM in your second month, you are required to work from 9PM – 6AM for the entirety of your second month.
  • You are required to work 8 Hours/day + 1 Hour break for 5 days/week.
  • The two off days you get per week may not be on the weekend, you must follow the schedule set for you.
  • You will have to work on certain weekends and public holidays.
  • 80% Night Shift / 20% Day Shift

Remuneration Package:

  • During the 1st month of your training, you will be given an allowance of RM 2,500 (This is included in your second month pay out)
  • After you complete your training, your rate as an audio translator is RM 31/Hour. (RM 4,900 minimum per month)
  • After working for roughly 6 weeks, you will sit for an evaluation test, should you pass it, you will be upgraded to a video call translator, similar to skype
  • Your rate as a video cam translator will be increased to RM 33/Hour. (RM 5,200 – RM 5,300 per month)
  • (Prioritizing immediate starters)

Benefits:

  • You are entitled to basic EPF and SOCSO in accordance to local Malaysian labour laws.
  • You are entitled to medical coverage with a Medical Card.
  • You are entitled to 12 days annual leave per year. (1 Annual leave earned after each consecutive month. Only applicable in the second month onwards).
  • There are 11 public holidays where you are not required to work (6 American PH & 5 Malaysian PH).

Requirements:

  • You need to have stable internet connection of AT LEAST 100 mbps.
  • If you do not have that speed, it is advised that you upgrade your internet package as you will be reimbursed for your internet by Teleperformance. Total of RM 62.30 monthly
  • You will need to pass a test in order for us to evaluate your language skills
