Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Working Days/ Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in engineering consultancy or the construction industry, with expertise in air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and active fire protection services. Experience in data center design and commissioning will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee mechanical engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage the design phase, contract administration, testing & commissioning, site safety, and quality management.
  • Provide expertise in Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV), and Active Fire Protection Services.
  • Coordinate with project teams to organize and deliver projects on schedule.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure all mechanical engineering works adhere to local and international safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in engineering consultancy or construction.
  • Strong knowledge in ACMV design and Active Fire Protection Services.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience with BIM or accreditation as ATD is an advantage.
  • Eligible for registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as a Professional Engineer or PEPC.
