Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Communications Manager will plan and execute a variety of internal communications and external communications activities to help with brand awareness, drive engagement and attract new customers in the Optical Communications business. Reporting into the Head of Networking MARCOM, you will shape the marketing strategy for Networking. You’ll manage the Networking Content Specialist team (for Telecom and for Datacom) in order to meet the committed targets in terms of company promotion and visibility, to ensure brand and message consistency, to guarantee an appropriate company representation at the tradeshows and through the internal and external media. You’ll be coaching and developing team members, analyzing market trends, creating campaigns and collaborating with other departments to achieve business goals. You’ll be involved in budgeting and assessing the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
· Develop and execute marketing operations strategy that aligns with the marketing and business objectives.
· Train, coach and lead the marketing specialist team on best practices and standards of MARCOM, as well as evaluate new trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the marketing capabilities
· Measure and report the impact and value of marketing campaigns on business outcomes.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field
· Knowledge of the Optical Communications Industry – Telecom and Datacom: business dynamics, main players, main events and dedicated media
· 5 to 7 years of experience in Semiconductor Industry
· Project Management
· Writing skills
· Ability to analyze data and report on performance
· Broad experience across online and offline marketing channels
· Familiarity with social media platforms
· Experience with web analytics tools
· Experience with AI tools
· Budget management experience
Skills & Other Requirements
· Tactical and strategic thinking skills to execute marketing campaigns
· Leadership and project management experience

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM22,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
