Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Evaluation: Analyse financial statements, cash inflows and outflows, bank statements, and client contracts, to assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers to determine repayment capacity
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage existing credit portfolios, identifying early warning signs of credit deterioration and recommending corrective actions. Regularly review loan performance and adjust risk assessments as necessary.
- Risk Assessment: Develop and implement credit risk models to quantify potential risks associated with Crusade Partner’s lending activities. This involves monitoring the portfolio companies to review the probability of default and potential loss, considering both borrower specific factors and broader economic indicators.
- Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that could impact the credit portfolio. Provide insights and recommendations based on findings to support strategic decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed credit reports and presentations for senior management and investment committees, outlining risk assessments, credit decisions, and portfolio performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus but not a pre-requisite.
- Prior experience between 1-3 years in credit analysis, financial analysis, or related fields within the financial services industry. Familiarity with private credit markets is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data and market information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and understanding credit risk factors in companies.

Pay: RM5,300.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
