The Head of HR is responsible for leading and managing the human resource operations for local and Nepalese security guards, ensuring smooth recruitment, payroll, compliance, and overall workforce management.

Job Descrption

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, security industry regulations, and immigration policies.
  • Ensure all security personnel meet licensing and regulatory requirements under the Private Agencies Act 1971.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with work permits (EPLKS), FOMEMA medical check-ups, and foreign worker regulations.
  • Liaise with government agencies (KDN, Immigration, Nepal Embassy, PDRM, etc.) for licensing, permits, and regulatory matters.
  • Ensure proper background verification, training certifications, and licensing of all security personnel.
  • Oversee contract management, including new hires, renewals, terminations, and status changes.
  • Manage the entry, recruitment, and documentation for Nepalese security guards.
  • Oversee EPLKS applications, renewals, and compliance to ensure smooth processing.
  • Coordinate with FOMEMA for medical screenings, ensuring all foreign guards meet health requirements.
  • Handle relations with the Nepal Embassy, Immigration Department, and KDN for work permit processing.
  • Maintain and oversee HR documentation, reports, and records for security personnel.
  • Ensure smooth handling of administrative tasks related to HR operations, compliance reporting, and office correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in the security industry.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign worker management, EPLKS, and Malaysian labor laws.
  • Experience in handling security guard recruitment, work permits, and compliance matters.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing Nepalese guards, FOMEMA medicals, and work permit renewals.
  • Familiarity with the Private Agencies Act 1971 and security regulations.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English
