Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Engineer to support our engineering and production teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, assisting in product design, and supporting manufacturing processes. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with machining and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enter and update fabrication details in the ERP system, including process specifications, material sizes, and assigned drawings.
2. Create internal drawings, diagrams, illustrations, and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
3. Design new or improved products and components, including special tools, jigs, and fixtures.
4. Collaborate with the production team to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
5. Provide drafting and illustration services as required by Engineering Services, Managing Director, General Manager, or Production Manager.

Additional Responsibilities: Develop NC programs for CNC lathe machines using MASTERCAM.
Assist with assembly of detailed parts during the production process.
Participate in rework processes using conventional milling machines.
Support the SCM department by verifying material specifications and standard parts.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MASTERCAM.
Experience in CNC programming and machining is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
