In this role, you will be crucial in overseeing the entire manufacturing process, from machine construction to ensuring compliance with all necessary manufacturing standards and requirements, particularly in the context of new product implementation and project expansion.

You will be joining a dedicated group of professionals committed to excellence in manufacturing engineering, playing a pivotal role in the department's ongoing success and growth.

What You Will Do

  • Support New Product Introduction and new capacity expansion projects by reviewing and analyzing drawings and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
  • Develop detailed documentation and preparations needed for production, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flows, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Utilize DMAIC concepts for reporting and analysis, including 8D, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
  • Conduct risk assessments (e.g., FMEA) and implement mitigation strategies to ensure robust manufacturing processes that meet regulatory standards and company quality policies
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams during the scale-up and launch phases of new products
  • Continuously monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for further improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate closely with quality and production teams to address issues during the qualification phase and ensure a smooth transition to mass production

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics, or Technology
  • Engineering experience in the manufacturing sector
  • Proven experience in process engineering
  • Ability to support NPR and capacity expansion projects, ensuring a seamless transition from development to mass production
  • Strong understanding of process engineering principles and automated assembly systems
  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing technical drawings and reports, such as FAI reports
  • Expertise in using problem-solving methodologies
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Skilled in creating detailed production documentation
  • Competency in analyzing production data to drive process improvement and innovation
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
