Internship Responsibilities
As an Admin Intern, you will gain practical experience in financial and administrative tasks, including:
i. Accounts Receivable & Payable Support
- Assist in preparing and processing invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts
- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments and maintain proper records
- Verify and reconcile transactions to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
ii. Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting
- Assist in reconciling bank statements with company records to identify discrepancies
- Support the finance team in updating ledgers and maintaining financial accuracy
- Help prepare monthly reports, including cash flow tracking and budget summaries
iii. Aging Report Preparation
- Assist in generating aging reports for accounts receivable to monitor overdue payments
- Work with the team to follow up on outstanding invoices and document collection progress
iv. Document Filing & Record Management
- Organize and maintain financial documents, contracts, and client records
- Ensure compliance with internal filing systems for easy retrieval and audit purposes
v. Administrative & Ad-Hoc Support
- Assist in general office administrative tasks such as data entry, report preparation, and correspondence handling
- Support in liaising with vendors, clients, and internal teams for administrative coordination
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the management when necessary
Requirements
· Currently pursuing a Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field
· Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
· Able to work independently and in a team
Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage
