- The Senior Finance Executive plays a key role in overseeing the accounts payable process and general ledger functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and financial transactions.

- This position supports managers in optimizing cash flow, improving financial processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

- A key aspect of this role is to support financial operations by maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and assisting with the implementation of best practices to drive efficiency and profitability.

- Managing the payables/reporting function in Malaysia.

- Assist in financial reporting, compliance, and operational support for retail finance activities.

- Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and statutory requirements.

- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize payment processes and financial workflows.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma in Accountancy
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in accounting in the retail industry.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of tax legislation.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysia Reporting Standards, Companies Act and other accounting regulatory requirements is highly essential.
  • Knowledge and experience with internal control documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must for this role as is the ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently.
  • Hands on approach, ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • Well versed in MS Excel and spreadsheet techniques with exceptional numerical proficiency and experienced in financial modelling.
  • Hands-on, analytical, meticulous, strong in processes and accounting concept, problem solver.
  • Possess a positive attitude, good leadership skills, interpersonal communication skills, independent and a team player.
