Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Kelana Jaya
Working Days/ Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in the engineering consultancy or construction industry, with a strong background in MV and LV electrical power systems. Experience in data center design and commissioning is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee electrical engineering design for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Manage the design phase, contract administration, testing & commissioning, electrical safety, and quality management.
  • Collaborate with project teams to organize and deliver projects on schedule.
  • Provide technical expertise in MV and LV power system design.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure projects comply with local and international electrical codes and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in engineering consultancy or construction.
  • Strong electrical power system knowledge in MV and LV design.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience with BIM or accreditation as ATD is an advantage.
  • Eligible for registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as a Professional Engineer or PEPC.
