We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Warehouse Developer to join our team. As a Data Warehouse Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions that ensure the seamless flow of data across the organization. You will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Data Warehouse Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to load data into data warehouses. Create and maintain data models, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and meet business requirements. Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for extracting and transforming data. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and integrity. Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from diverse sources into the data warehouse. Database Design & Management: Design and implement database structures for storing data efficiently and ensuring optimal performance. Work with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL) for data storage. Data Quality & Validation: Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity by performing validation checks and cleaning processes. Implement data quality standards and troubleshooting processes to identify and resolve data issues. Performance Optimization: Tune queries and data warehouse processes to improve performance, scalability, and data processing efficiency. Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend appropriate solutions. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with business analysts and data scientists to understand reporting and analysis needs. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for data warehouse solutions, resolving any issues as they arise. Documentation & Reporting: Document data warehouse processes, architecture, and data models for internal reference. Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data structures. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or in a similar role. Strong experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica) and data integration. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouse platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake). Skills: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and star/snowflake schemas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data profiling and data cleansing techniques. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash for data processing tasks. Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance for big data. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data lake architectures and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark). Familiarity with BI reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Experience with version control tools (Git) and DevOps practices. Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security standards.
