  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  1. Open Chrome on your computer.
  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Client Industry: Construction (Waterproofing)

Location: Putra Heights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Taking Off/Measurement. - whenever necessary
  • Prepare & compile all necessary supporting documents for Claim / Final Acc submission. - whenever necessary
  • Prepare All Monthly Progress Claims.
  • Prepare Final Claim for completed project.
  • Follow-up Interim/Final Payment Certificate/SFA with Main Contractor/Client.
  • Attend/solve any issues/disputes arise in regards to Payment Certificate and Monthly Progress Claim/Final Claim.
  • Attend meeting with Main Contractor to discuss matters in regards to Payment Certificate and Monthly Progress Claim/Final Claim.
  • Attend site measurement (if necessary).
  • Assist SQS to coordinate/liaise and obtain information from Internal Dept (Sales/ Marketing/Technical/Operation/Inventory & Purchasing).
  • Assist to prepare/write all necessary letter in regards to Claim/Certification issues.
  • Prepare all necessary reports* and submit to SQS.
  • Provide guidance, assistance, training and monitor AQS works.
  • Liaise closely and adhere to the direct Superior/Line of Reporting Superiors.
  • Assist Sr. QS/ACM/CM for any other tasks.
  • Cover AQS scope of work when necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (construction, civil and structural engineering).
  • 3 year of exposure and working experience as Assistant Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
  • Experience in Construction or related industries are strongly preferred.
  • General interest in waterproofing specialization.
  • Communicate effectively with Management and all other levels of employees.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software's i.e. Microsoft, AutoCAD.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Quantity Surveyor: 2 years (Preferred)
