Production Technician

Machine Operation & Monitoring Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently and safely. Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities or malfunctions. Perform daily and monthly routine equipment checks, and carry out basic maintenance when necessary. Product Quality Control Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality meets company standards. Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) during all production processes. Record production data and quality reports as required. Workplace Safety Ensure adherence to all safety and health regulations at the workplace. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately. Process Improvement Participate in improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency. Provide suggestions on reducing material wastage or improving workflow. Inventory & Material Handling Assist in managing stock levels of materials required for production. Properly label, handle, and store raw materials and finished goods. Scheduled Waste Management Understand and follow procedures related to handling, labeling, and storing scheduled wastes. Support in scheduled waste inventory tracking and safe disposal process, under supervision of the competent person. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of production, machine usage, and downtime. Submit daily reports to the Production Supervisor or Assistant Manager. Teamwork & Communication Work closely with other technicians and departments to ensure smooth operations. Communicate issues and updates clearly to supervisors and colleagues. Other Duties Perform other tasks assigned by Management in line with production needs.
