Our Internal Global Mobility team provides support for PwC’s international assignment programmes. As part of our team, you’ll help with all human resource related aspects of international assignments including tax, immigration, mobility consulting, and expatriate compensation and benefits.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating the full assignment process (long term assignment, short term assignment, international transfer) for all movements in and out of Malaysia.

  • Partnering with the stakeholders to execute efficient and effective cross-bordered mobility operations

  • Providing subject matter specialist mobility consulting services to stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with the tax and immigration regulations for all assignments.

  • Development and implementation of global mobility policies and/or mobility related initiatives.

  • Manage the end-to-end immigration matters and processing for the various lines of service

  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

  • Ensuring a high level of service to employees with a key focus on employee experience.

  • Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.

  • Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.

  • Coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.

  • Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.

  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.

  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.

  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.

  • Develop a point of view on key global / global mobility trends, and how they impact clients.

  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.

Preferred Skills:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree

  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience in dealing with Global Mobility programmes

  • A good understanding of immigration and the various work pass processing in Malaysia

  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks

  • Good interpersonal and communication skill with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, and is able to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders across all levels

  • Able to adapt to a challenging and fast phase environment
