Position Overview:
As an HR Intern, you will assist the HR team with recruitment tasks, support employee engagement activities, and handle various administrative duties. You will work closely with experienced HR professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Assistance:
- Screening Calls: Conduct initial phone screenings with candidates to assess their suitability for roles.
- Reference Checks: Perform reference checks for prospective hires to verify background and qualifications.
- Filing and Documentation: Organize and maintain recruitment documents and candidate files.
- Employee Engagement Support:
- Event Assistance: Support the Senior HR team in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events.
- Feedback Collection: Assist in gathering employee feedback and contributing to engagement initiatives.
- Administrative Support:
- Attendance Monitoring: Verify and check attendance records for outsourced employees.
- HR Documentation: Update and maintain HR records and documentation, including employee files and databases.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly HR updates and reports.
- Site Visits: Assist the HR in-charge with site visits, including preparation and follow-up tasks.
- General HR Support:
- Coordination: Provide support to the HR team on various projects and administrative tasks.
- Assistance: Help with day-to-day HR functions and provide general assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR documentation and records.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR software is a plus.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with HR professionals and support HR initiatives.
