About XD School
We are creating the first inclusive neuro-diverse digital school in Malaysia!
Geography Scope: Onsite @ XD Digital Hub, SS1 (near Paramount LRT Station), Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Working Hours: Minimum 35 hours/week
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every Monday to Thursday
- One-half day of community work on the weekends (Sat or Sun)
Overview
We are looking for a graduate/postgraduate with a long-term interest to make a difference in the community we live in to join XD School. You will be groomed to lead our Special Needs Teaching Programme to teach our differently-abled students. The role involves developing tailored learning strategies, conducting one-to-one sessions in small classrooms, and ensuring student progress through specialised teaching methods while fostering a safe and engaging learning environment.

Job Requirements
A) Must-Haves:
- Have at least a Bachelors or Master’s level degree in Special Education or similar fields
- At least 6 months of work experience in the Special Education field
- Excellent English Communication skills
- Excellent command of Microsoft, Canva and/or AI Tools to paint the canvas of effective teaching!
- Committed to an Xtraordinary journey
B) Desirable:
- Familiarity with Functional Academics, Youth Transitions, and Vocational Training programmes
- Have guided and inspired individuals overcoming learning or mental health challenges, illuminating their paths to success
