Demi Chef (Pastry / Hot Kitchen)
We're seeking a talented and experienced Demi Chef (Pastry/Hot Kitchen) to join our synamic team.
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Chef de Partie (CDP) in the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of dishes, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
-Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff when required.
-Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
-Coordinate with other kitchen sections to maintain cleanliness, control wastage, and ensure kitchen requirements are met.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
-Clean kitchen equipment and tools as needed, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
-Perform any other duties assigned by management or immediate superiors.
Requirements:
-Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or equivalent experience.
-Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar culinary role.
-Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including coffee-based dishes, sandwiches, pastries, western cuisine, and light meals.
-Familiar with food safety and sanitation best practices.
-Positive working attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
-Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
