Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated carer to join our day care center team. The carer will be responsible for supporting and assisting eldery throughout the day, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role involves engaging clients in activities and offering companionship to enhance their quality of life while they attend the center. Key Responsibilities: • Help clients with mobility and supporting walking or use of mobility aids. • Assist with mealtime needs, including meal preparation and feeding. • Plan and facilitate engaging, appropriate activities (e.g., games, arts and crafts, exercises) to stimulate cognitive and physical abilities. • Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive, friendly atmosphere within the center • Ensure the safety of clients during activities, ensuring they are comfortable and secure. • Assist with light housekeeping duties such as tidying up and cleaning. • Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns or changes in their physical or emotional well-being to senior staff or healthcare providers. • Maintain accurate records of care and activities provided for each client. • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality care.
