AREA MANAGER
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
· Oversee the execution and implementation of security operations across multiple sites.
· Ensure that all security services are provided in accordance with company policies, client agreements, and industry standards.
· Monitor and manage the performance of security personnel and teams to ensure service excellence.
· Ensure sites are in good situations.
· Required to report to duty 12hours a day Monday - Saturday
· Ensure security guard are in discipline and uniform is presentable according to the companies standards.
· Handle emergency and unwanted situations and alias with the police and relevant authority if needed. Make police reports & submit to HQ for further investigations; Staff must be ready at all times to respond to reports of possible crime or emergencies, such as car accidents or robberies. Quickly arrive on scene if encounter any incidents at your zone, you need to prepare an incident reports

2. Client Relations & Satisfaction:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their security needs are consistently met.
· Address client concerns, feedback, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
· Conduct regular site visits to ensure that security protocols are being followed and that the clients are satisfied with the service.
· Attend management meetings with Safety Officer and building managers
3. Team Leadership & Training:
· Supervise, train, and mentor security personnel, fostering a positive and proactive work environment.
· Ensure that all security staff are appropriately trained and certified as per regulatory requirements and company standards.
· Lead recruitment efforts for security personnel and contribute to staffing requirements for new contracts or projects.
4. Compliance & Reporting:
· Ensure all security operations are in compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
· Prepare and submit regular operational reports detailing security performance, incidents, and key metrics.
· Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and optimize security processes.
5. Incident Management:
· Oversee and manage the response to security incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken and documented.
· Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other stakeholders in the event of an emergency or security breach.
· Review incident reports and provide recommendations for preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
6. Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
· Assist in the development and management of operational budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency in security operations.
· Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and technology, to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.
7. Technology Integration:
· Leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and service delivery, including security management software and surveillance systems.
· Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies, implementing improvements to enhance security services.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum Diploma or certificates in Security Management,Safety and security or any related field (preferred).
· At least 2–5 years of experience in operational management, preferably in the security industry or related sectors.
· Strong knowledge of physical security protocols, technologies, and regulatory standards.
· Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant operational tools/software.
Desired Skills & Attributes:
· Any Certification in security management or law enforcement is a plus.
· Experience with security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, and alarm monitoring.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, when required.
· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
· A proactive approach to managing security risks and ensuring client safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
