Job Overview:
The Retail Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards across all Koong Woh Tong outlets. The role involves conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to enhance overall retail performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of Koong Woh Tong retail outlets, including cash handling, inventory management, sales processes, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and industry regulations.
- Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and areas of potential risk, and propose corrective actions.
- Evaluate staff adherence to operational procedures, merchandising standards, and promotional activities.
- Review and assess stock levels, stock movements, and wastage control to minimize losses.
- Monitor financial transactions, including daily sales, petty cash handling, and POS system, ipay88,grab, foodpanda and e-commerce devices.
- Assess customer service quality and staff performance through observations and mystery shopper programs.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for improvement.
- Work closely with operation managers, operations teams, and HQ to implement audit recommendations and action plan.
- Provide training and guidance to retail staff on best practices and SOP adherence.
Requirements:
- SPM and above or, Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, or internal auditing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and follow up on implementations.
- Good understanding of retail SOPs, cash handling, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and retail audit tools.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English. (Mandarin added advantages).
- Willingness to travel to various retail outlets (outstations if needed) for audits.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in the F&B or traditional herbal industry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
