The Role: We seek a results-driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to spearhead our biopsy product line in Kuala Lumpur and surrounding regions. You will leverage your existing network in hospitals, clinics, and physician practices to expand market share and build KA Healthcare’s reputation as a trusted partner in medical diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Penetration: Develop and execute strategies to grow sales of biopsy devices in Kuala Lumpur’s public/private hospitals, clinics, and specialist practices.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders (e.g., surgeons, radiologists, procurement teams, and distributors).
- Product Expertise: Conduct training sessions, demos, and presentations to educate healthcare professionals on product benefits.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with KA Medical’s regional team to align strategies and share best practices.
- Target-Driven: Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals and deliver detailed reports on pipeline growth and market feedback.
- Event Participation: Represent KA Healthcare at conferences, trade shows, and medical forums.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in medical device sales, with at least 2 years focused on biopsy products, surgical devices, or diagnostic equipment.
- Network: Proven connections with healthcare providers in Kuala Lumpur (e.g., hospital procurement departments, specialist physicians).
· Skills:
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Technical aptitude to articulate product specifications and clinical advantages.
- Self-motivated with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Compliance: Knowledge of Malaysia’s medical device regulations (MDA) is a plus.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel within the region.
