LORRY DRIVER

-responsible for safely transporting goods or materials from one location to another -ensuring timely deliveries -maintaining vehicle condition -safely operate a large goods vehicle (lorry/truck) to transport goods or materials -determine the most efficient and safe routes for deliveries, considering traffic conditions and road closures -ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations, following delivery schedules and customer requirements -perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, including refueling, cleaning, and checking tires and fluids -maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and goods transported -assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are secured properly to prevent damage or loss -communicate effectively with customers, and other stakeholders regarding deliveries and any issues that arise -identify and resolve minor mechanical issues -basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair -ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others -ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during deliveries
