Technician Fiberglass

Fiberglass Component Fabrication: Fabricate, repair, and maintain fiberglass components used in aircraft, including fairings, cowls, and interior panels. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to produce fiberglass parts according to design requirements. Mix and apply resin and fiberglass materials, ensuring proper curing and finish. Maintenance and Repair: Inspect and assess fiberglass components for damage, wear, or defects; perform necessary repairs or replacements. Use tools and equipment such as sanders, grinders, and drills to prepare surfaces and finish fiberglass components. Conduct routine maintenance checks on fiberglass structures and components to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines related to fiberglass handling, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Document all repairs and modifications made to fiberglass components to ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements. Equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Licensed Aircraft Engineers and other maintenance personnel to identify and resolve issues related to fiberglass components. Provide input on design improvements or modifications to enhance the performance and durability of fiberglass parts.
