Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in overall purchasing functions. Work following documented environmental procedures and instructions, following specific responsibilities outlined in individual procedures. Report any environmental issues or deviations to the Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Committee. Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Source and negotiate with suppliers on cost and lead time. Communicate with suppliers to follow up on delivery schedules. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure products arrive in good condition. Handle import shipments. Perform ad hoc tasks and other duties as assigned by the superior.
