Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Purchasing Manager to join our team in Taiwan. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth procurement of key ingredients directly from Taiwan , which is essential for maintaining the quality and distinctiveness of our high-quality jelly , flavor syrup , and fruit can products . The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing our regional procurement operations and optimizing our supply chain. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ingredient Sourcing and Procurement: ~Identify ,evaluate, and select local suppliers in Taiwan for key ingredients , including those crucial for our product lines. ~Negotiate procurement contracts & agreements to secure competitive pricing & favorable terms. ~Ensure the timely & reliable delivery of ingredients to meet production schedules. Quality Assurance & Compliance: ~Implement & maintain stringent quality control processes for procured ingredients , ensuring they meet our quality standards & regulatory requirements. ~Collaborate with internal quality assurance teams to address any quality issues promptly. Supplier Relationship Management: ~Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers , fostering collaboration , trust , and long-term partnerships. ~Evaluate supplier performance regularly and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Cost Management and Budgeting: ~Develop and manage the procurement budget , optimizing costs while maintaining product quality. ~Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies. Market Insights and Risk Management: ~Stay updated on market trends , pricing fluctuations , and potential risks in the Taiwanese ingredient market. ~Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure a stable supply chain. Cross - Functional Collaboration: ~Collaborate with R&D , production , and quality assurance teams to ensure ingredient specifications meet product requirements. ~Work closely with international teams to align procurement strategies with company objectives.
