Role: Specialist - Fraud Operation

Responsibilities:
Reviews activity to detect and prevent fraudulent activity based on reports, alerts, or notifications from Fraud Management Tools and escalations.
Monitor real-time queues and identify high-risk transactions within the customer portfolio.
Resolve queued transactions within the service level agreements (SLA) to reduce potential revenue losses.
Mitigate risk through fraud detection and review transactions and account activity for any suspicious or fraudulent activity.
Observe customer transactions to identify fraudulent activity such as BIN attacks, friendly fraud, and other risks.
Continuously monitor customer and transactional records to identify unauthorized transactions and fraudulent accounts.
Determine existing fraud trends by analyzing accounts and transaction patterns.
Identify and monitor potential risks due to fraud in all areas of the customer lifecycle.
Participate in ad-hoc projects to improve work processes and fraud detection.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve fraud risk-related issues.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with at least 2 years’ experience in Fraud Risk Management and Controls for financial institutions, payments, cards, banks, or e-wallets.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Good knowledge and understanding of overall Fraud Risk processes, policies, and operations.
Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Suite.
Strong team player.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
