Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking a Human Resources Representative to provide site HR support. In this position you will work closely our internal customers to ensure HR programs and services support and drive business objectives. The selected individual will engage in all aspects of human resources, be able to build strong internal business partnerships, provide coaching, and offer creative solutions to business issues. This position will work closely with the HR Site Manager and an experienced HR Business Partner to support their customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, LLB or related field
  • 0+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably as a HR Representative
  • Advanced PC skills to include extensive and strong use of Excel and other programs (Windows, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active, engaged listening.
  • Self-Starter
  • Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Well verse in Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967and Employment legal procedures.
  • Able to anticipate trends and future needs.
  • Troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Provides good consultative skills.
  • Good oral & written communication skills.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills - able to interact at all levels.
  • Highly responsible and dependable.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision yet fulfills requirement
  • Able to work under stress to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated, independent and proactive
  • Must possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Responsible to manage all Industrial Relations (IR) activities in the areas of compliance, discipline and exit in accordance to related company policies, local labor laws and corporate procedures.
  • Experience handling RBA and audit will be added value.

  • Handle day to day HR transactional requests and requirements.
  • Stay connected to the business by participating in relevant staff and business meetings.
  • Coordinate monthly New Hire Orientation
  • Stay connected with the needs of the people by being visible and regularly interacting with all personnel.
  • Resolve issues received by management and employees, providing immediate attention to sensitive issues.
  • Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations for a wide range of issues.
  • Utilize data analytics by developing and interpreting metrics to drive decision making within the business.
  • Managing Employees disciplinary and grievances process.
  • Organize recreational activities to the employees.
  • Responsible for community service activities.
  • Gauge the company-employee pulse, which include managing employee’s dialogue.
  • Responsible to ingrain company core values into employee work culture
  • Work together with the Communication Officer to develop internal and corporate communication to ensure all employees are well informed of the company activities.
  • Good understanding in local applicable laws, any regulations or procedures, RBA and any type of customer labor and ethics auditable standards.
