Position Overview:

As a Junior Python Developer, you will play a key role in automating the testing for web applications. Working closely with developers and cross-functional teams, you will design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of applications, analyzing test results, and documenting bugs or performance issues.

Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Python and Selenium.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather testing requirements and design detailed test plans.
  • Execute test cases, analyze results, and document bugs or performance issues.
  • Work closely with developers to understand application design and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support efficient software delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and share insights with the team.

Requirement

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automated testing with Python and Selenium, particularly in web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

It will be a plus if you have the following knowledge:

  • Knowledge of W3C standards.
  • Real Device Automated Mobile Application Testing/Automation (iOS/Android).
  • Appium Framework.
  • Mobile Application/Website Security Testing.
  • Mobile-Specific Vulnerability Testing.
  • Network Security Testing.
  • IT Infrastructure and Networking Security.
  • Data Center management.
