Position Overview:

We are looking for a Financial Data Quality Analyst to assist in validating and reconciling data between client and vendor systems. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to validate, reconcile, identify, and resolve any data or financial mismatch issues ahead of preparing invoices for clients.

Job Description:

  • Data Reconciliation & Validation: Ensure consistency in transactions, balances, and reports between client and vendor systems.
  • Error Detection & Resolution: Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
  • Data Quality Monitoring: Perform data validation and cleansing to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Document discrepancies, actions taken, and reconciliation results for stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (Finance, Account Management) and external clients/vendors to resolve data-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Related to this field (at least Diploma)
  • 1- 2 years of experience: Prior experience in data reconciliation, financial data management, or quality assurance is a plus but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (such as formulas, array formulas, pivot tables, charting and dashboarding) and seasoned in financial data validation, reconciliation, and management. Ability to script in SQL, Python or VBA is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: Comfortable working with large data sets and have a neck for spotting and resolving data discrepancies quickly.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve data issues.
  • Communication: Clear documentation and effective communication with teams.
