
Construction Site Supervisor
Responsibilities:
1. Site supervisors participate in project planning, preparation and installation. Review project specifications, drawings, and safety requirements to understand the scope of work and ensure all necessary resources (materials and manpower) are available on site.
2. In charge of supervising a team of technicians and labourers. This involves assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the team works cohesively to meet project deadlines.
3.Safety is a top priority in lightning protection installations. The site supervisor is responsible for enforcing safety regulations and ensuring that all personnel adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
4. The site supervisor oversees the installation process to ensure that it meets the required quality standards. They conduct inspections and tests to verify that all components are properly installed and functioning correctly.
5. Site supervisors work closely with the storekeeper to ensure that the required materials and equipment are available at the site when needed. They also manage the proper handling and storage of materials.
6. Tracking of the project's progress and report to higher management or project stakeholders as required. This includes documenting completed tasks, identifying any issues or delays, and suggesting solutions to keep the project on track.
7. Prepare RFI and capture site photo for every job completed and submit to COW for approval.
8. Effective communication is essential for the smooth functioning of the project. Site supervisors need to communicate with their team, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and coordinate activities.
9. When unexpected challenges arise during the project, the site supervisor must think critically and find solutions to keep the project moving forward effectively.
10. Ensure that the lightning protection system installation adheres to local building codes, industry standards, and regulations.
11. Site supervisors may interact with clients or site owners to address any questions or concerns they may have about the installation process or project progress.
12. Site supervisors may be involved in the training and development of new technicians, ensuring they understand proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
Requirement:
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Construction, Building Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in construction industry
- Possess own transport (Car)
- Willing to travel to outstation as required
- Fresh graduate encourage to apply
- Preferably with CIDB Certification or PW4 license

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
