  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

As a Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA) / Front Desk Assistant at Putramedic Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our dental clinic. This full-time position is based in our Kuantan location, where you will be responsible for assisting our dentists and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing chairside assistance to dentists during procedures, ensuring the dental operatory is fully stocked and prepared
  • Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
  • Welcoming patients, checking them in, and managing front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling payments
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical charts
  • Ensuring the dental clinic is kept clean, organised and presentable at all times
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as required to support the dental team

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or in a similar patient-facing role within the healthcare/medical industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using dental software and electronic medical record systems
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
  • A genuine interest in the dental field and a passion for contributing to patient care
