We're seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our synamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing all baking operations and hot kitchen, ensuring the highest quality and consistency of our products. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the continued growth and success of our bakery.

Responsibilities:

-Ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and consistency.

-Participate in regular inventory management and the ordering of supplies.

-Prepare and bake a variety of breads and pastries.

-Decorate pastries and desserts using various types of icings, toppings, and other decorations to ensure attractive and appealing presentation.

-Monitor the quality of food prepared by team members and make necessary adjustments to meet required standards.

-Assist in costing and pricing dessert menus and other food items, ensuring profit margins align with budgetary guidelines.

-Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient service.

-Ensure the kitchen is maintained in a safe and sanitary condition, cleaning spills and addressing potential hazards promptly.

-Maintain all HACCP standards and procedures within the operation.

- Assist in menu and recipe planning, creating new idea for seasonal menu

-Perform any other duties as assigned by management or immediate superiors.

Requirements:

-Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or related field.

-Minimum 3 years’ working experience as Chef de Partie or similar position, preferably in a pastry café or hotel kitchen.

-Good leadership skills and able to guide and train the team.

-Strong knowledge of Western and local food, baking techniques, and food presentation.

-Experience in food costing, inventory control, and kitchen paperwork.

-Good communication skills and able to manage time and kitchen operations well.

-Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high food quality and cleanliness.

-Positive attitude, flexible, and able to work under pressure.

-Strong problem-solving skills and able to motivate the kitchen team.

-Passionate about creating quality and creative dishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
