The Tender Manager & Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements while optimizing supplier selection and cost efficiency. This role also involves strategic sourcing of materials, suppliers, and services to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
- Identify and evaluate tender opportunities relevant to the company’s business.
- Manage the full tender process, including preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Develop bid strategies, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with tender specifications.
- Track and manage all active tenders
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical, financial, and legal inputs.
- Ensure timely submission of bids while maintaining high-quality documentation.
Sourcing & Procurement
- Identify and assess potential suppliers for materials and services.
- Conduct supplier evaluations based on cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Optimise procurement strategies to improve cost efficiency and performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all tender documents adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation for audits and internal compliance checks.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks to tenders
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Track tender success rates and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor supplier performance and develop improvement strategies.
- Reporting on cost savings and procurement efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity or role
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
