Housekeeping Attendant

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for guests and staff. The Housekeeper will perform various cleaning tasks, adhere to safety and sanitation standards, and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and dining areas.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored safely and properly.
• Guest Interaction:
  • Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or services in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Report any guest concerns or complaints to the housekeeping supervisor or management.
• Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and in accordance with safety standards.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance cleaning skills and knowledge.
• Reporting:
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and any special requests from guests.

• Experience:
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is a plus but not always required.
