Responsibilities: 1. Analyse drawings, sketches and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, machine speeds and feed rates. 2. Prepare CNC programming, monitoring CNC programs and ensure accuracy of all instructions through comparison with drawing and design. 3. Setting CNC programs for new products and determine new fixture for manufacturing. 4. Able to determine correct cutting tools in order to reduce machining times, remove additional operations, improve surface finishing and enhance accuracy levels. 5. Informing QC Department/Management of any non-conformance's products. 6. Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up of CNC machines, including instruction sheets on cutter tools setup. 7. Review and verify design drawings and other technical documentation to ensure correctness and accuracy in form, fit and function. 8. Improve programming process and procedures from time to time. 9. To carry out other duties and ad-hoc assignment as and when required by superior. 10. To oversee overall production process and report to superior for any major issues in factory. 11. Implement 5S and Kaizen activities continuously. 12. To establish or review safety work procedures in order to ensure all works performed are compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines. Requirement: 1. Diploma/Degree or technical training in CNC machining preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years experience in CNC Auto lathe machining and programming (Milling and Auto Lathe) 3. Knowledge of functioning, setting up and operating of the 5-axis and 7-axis, Turning and Turnmill CNC machines. 4. Good understanding of Geometrical Dimensional Tolerances. 5. Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings. 6. Skills in recognizing improper functioning of machine and/or cutting actions of tools. 7. Capable to use common measuring equipment. 8. Experience as a Machinist would be an advantage. 9. Required skill (s): Communication, Leadership. Independent, Supervision, and Problem Solving.
