A) Responsibilities / Authorities 1. Work with design and tooling teams to ensure manufacturability of new injection-molded components. 2. Define and optimize molding parameters, cycle times, and quality control measures. 3. Coordinate with R&D designers and suppliers to develop and validate new molds. 4. Optimize raw material usage to reduce waste and improve cost-efficiency. 13. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and lower production costs. 14. Establish quality control plans, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA). 15. Familiar with packaging standards and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure proper documentation and compliance with production requirements. 16. Collaborates effectively with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination and workflow efficiency. Job Requirement 1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related field. 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in injection molding, NPI, or working in the Project or Engineering department, preferably in Plastic Industry Project Management. 3. Strong knowledge of mold design, injection molding machines, and process optimization. 4. Familiarity with scientific molding principles, DOE (Design of Experiments), and troubleshooting techniques. 5. Proficiency in CAD software, mold flow analysis, and statistical analysis tools is a plus. 6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
