Shift Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities: Team Supervision: Train, motivate, and oversee Line Leaders and Production Assistants to achieve daily targets. Process Compliance: Communicate and monitor adherence to process changes and safety procedures. Shift Coordination: Ensure smooth shift changeovers and provide feedback on production issues. Production Management: Maintain equipment in production mode, escalate non-production uses, and initiate quality re-captures. Planning and Reporting: Manage manpower and materials to meet targets, review WIP reports, and prepare output reports. 5S Implementation: Enforce 5S standards and compliance with SOPs. Collaboration: Work with support groups on production matters. People Management: Briefings and Reports: Lead daily briefings and prepare shift performance reports. Welfare and Discipline: Address team grievances, handle minor and major misconduct, and coordinate cross-training. Quality Accountability: Compliance Enforcement: Ensure SOP and specification compliance. Defect Management: Verify and recapture defects, escalate issues, and follow up on quality performance changes. Communication: Relay quality alerts and information to relevant teams. Job Requirements: Diploma / Certificate or equivalent Minimum 1 or 2 years in a supervisory role in Manufacturing environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
