Research Officer

Responsibilities: - Design and execute research projects on Paulownia tree growth, cultivation, and applications. - Conduct lab and field works to collect data on Paulownia tree cultivation and plantations. - Analyse collected data using statistical tools to derive insights into paulownia tree characteristics and environmental impact. - Collaborate with forestry experts, environmental scientists, and specialists to enhance the depth of Paulownia tree research. - Maintain detailed records of research activities, including field observations and laboratory results. - Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Present research findings to diverse audiences, including scientific communities, industry partners, and policymakers. Requirements: - Master/Ph.D. in Forestry, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field. - Previous experience in forestry research, preferably with a focus on timer tree species such as Paulownia. - Familiarity with forestry management practices and environmental impact assessments. -Experience in micropropagation and field sampling, preferably forestry or related ecological studies. -Good experimental skills including aseptic technique in tissue culture. - Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills, including the use of relevant software tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying scientific information to diverse audiences.
