Head of Branding/Marketing (HOD)
Job Specifications:
1. Brand Strategy & Marketing LeadershipDevelop, implement, and oversee the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with company’s global vision and Malaysia’s market dynamics.
Plan and execute multichannel marketing strategies that integrate digital, social media, offline channels, and marketing automation to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement.
Lead and manage the Brand Team, ensuring innovative, high-quality output across all marketing initiatives.
Develop and implement data-driven digital marketing strategies, focusing on lead generation, brand affinity, and user acquisition.
Plan and execute SEO/SEM, website content, social media, email marketing, SMS/WhatsApp campaigns, and webinars to maximize reach and engagement.
Manage paid marketing strategies, including setting targets, measuring performance, and optimizing campaigns based on analytics.
Plan and implement integrated marketing strategies to drive participation in marketing campaigns, product launches, exhibitions, and consumer engagement events.
Oversee the creative development and execution of tactical marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand identity and business objectives.
Analyze post-campaign performance and optimize future campaigns based on insights.
Manage all corporate communications, PR activities, and media relations, including planning press conferences, preparing press releases, and coordinating media coverage.
Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, copywriting, and visual materials across both digital and traditional platforms.
Develop and manage the annual marketing and communication budget, ensuring cost-effective execution and achievement of project milestones.
Monitor and optimize marketing spend to maximize ROI and brand impact.
6. Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire the Branding Team, fostering a high-performance and results-driven culture.
Provide guidance on goal setting, professional development, and team scaling to support business growth.
Drive collaboration across departments, including sales, product, and regional HQ teams, to align branding initiatives with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in brand management, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the smartphone, consumer electronics, or tech industry. (Age : 30+, below 42)
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Malaysia’s smartphone market trends, Gen Z & millennial consumer behavior, and digital marketing landscape.
Proven Track Record: Experience leading successful branding campaigns, influencer marketing, and community engagement strategies.
Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to branding, with expertise in market research and consumer insights.
Leadership Skills: Strong team management, stakeholder collaboration, and decision-making abilities.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
