Main duties Financial Responsibilities - Check wastage and ensure optimum use of material in operation Operational Responsibilities - To carry out repairs to exiting furniture, doors, and windows - To repair door locks - To carry out repairs to upholstery of hotel furniture - To perform minor repairs on floor and wall carpets - To replace electrical light bulbs and fluorescent tubes according to schedule or if required - To inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all electrical lighting fixtures, floodlighting, spotlighting, and emergency lighting installations - To maintain emergency power supply and uninterruptible power supply systems - To service electrical motors and controls - To carry out preventive maintenance tasks on all electrical equipment - To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times - To keep all air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment in good state of maintenance and repair - To check frequently all major air handling units for correct function and performance, cleanliness of filters, drive belt tension, and lubrication of bearings - To perform regular preventive maintenance of all fan coil units and refrigeration equipment in accordance with the schedule
