Job Purpose To develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company regulations, labor laws, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Policy Development & Compliance Draft, review, and update HR policies in accordance with labor laws and company objectives. Ensure that all policies comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct research on best HR practices and recommend policy improvements. Communicate policies effectively to employees and management. Employee Handbook Management Develop and maintain the company’s employee handbook. Ensure that the handbook reflects the latest policies, procedures, and company culture. Regularly review and revise the handbook based on changes in employment law and organizational needs. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Design and document HR-related SOPs for various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, training, and employee relations. Ensure SOPs are clear, standardized, and align with company objectives. Collaborate with department heads to develop cross-departmental SOPs when necessary. Key Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR policy development, compliance, or a related field. Skills: Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Excellent writing and documentation skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to research, analyze, and update policies as per legal and business requirements. Strong communication and training skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
