As an HRD-certified TTT trainer in a theme park, is responsible for leading and facilitating team-building initiatives specifically for external organizations or groups, while working within the theme park's operational structure. These groups can include corporate teams, schools, associations, or other external clients who seek to engage in team-building activities at the park. This role involves a combination of training, event coordination, and client interaction, ensuring that the external group has a seamless and effective team-building experience within the theme park environment and resources, while adhering to HRD Corp guidelines. Here's a more detailed breakdown of your responsibilities:
1. Program Design and Development:
- Needs Assessment : Collaborate with clients to understand their specific team-building goals and objectives, aligning the program with their needs and the theme park setting.
- Curriculum Development : Create engaging and interactive team-building activities and exercises that promote collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Activity Selection : Choose activities that are appropriate for the theme park environment and the target audience, considering factors like age, physical abilities, and interests.
- Resource Planning : Identify and secure necessary resources, including venue spaces, equipment, and materials for the team-building activities.
- Budgeting : Develop a budget for the team-building program, including costs for venue rental, activities, materials, and facilitator fees.
- Logistics : Coordinate with the theme park staff to arrange transportation, catering, and other logistical needs for the team-building event.
2. Program Facilitation:
- Delivery : Facilitate the team-building activities in a fun, engaging, and effective manner, ensuring that participants are actively involved and learning.
- Feedback and Debriefing : Provide constructive feedback to participants on their performance and teamwork, and facilitate discussions to reinforce key learning points.
- Safety : Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and responsible manner, taking into account the theme park environment and the participants' safety.
- Time Management : Manage the program schedule effectively, ensuring that all activities are completed within the allocated time frame.
3. Program Evaluation:
- Assessment : Evaluate the effectiveness of the team-building program by collecting feedback from participants and measuring the achievement of program objectives.
- Reporting : Prepare a report summarizing the program's outcomes and recommendations for future improvements.
- HRD Corp Compliance : Ensure that the team-building program meets the requirements of HRD Corp, including minimum duration, participant numbers, and training content.
4. Leveraging the Theme Park Environment:
- Theme Integration : Integrate the theme park's unique environment and attractions into the team-building activities, creating a memorable and engaging experience.
- Problem-Solving Challenges : Develop team-building challenges that require participants to use their creativity and problem-solving skills to navigate the theme park environment.
- Rides and Attractions : Incorporate theme park rides and attractions into the team-building program, creating a fun and exciting experience.
- Character Interactions : Arrange for interactions with theme park characters to add a unique and memorable element to the team-building event.
