Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) coordinator to join our team. The primary role of this position is to ensure that our work environment meets all necessary safety and environmental standards. This includes conducting risk assessments, advising on safety compliance and preventative measures, and creating and implementing safety procedures. Responsibilities: • Implement health and safety programs in accordance with state, central regulations and company standards. • Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues. • Create reports on health and safety incidents, violations, and recommended improvements. • Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices. • Work with various departments to promote culture of safety within the organization. • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and propose corrective actions. • Monitor waste management procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, such as Safety Inspector or EHS Coordinator. • Strong understanding of environmental health and safety regulations. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills for training and advising staff. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: • Experience with risk assessment and chemical management. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for Malaysia and Vietnam and OSHA standards.
