Radiology Manager

Oversee the daily operations of the Radiology department, ensuring safety, compliance with regulations, and effective communication. Manage department activities including budgeting, equipment maintenance, inventory, and performance improvement. Hire, supervise, and evaluate Radiology staff, providing technical and clinical support. Administer radiology procedures safely according to radiation safety standards and departmental protocols. Plan, schedule, and delegate work to optimize personnel and resource usage. Monitor team compliance with hospital policies and ensure workflow efficiency. Report equipment malfunctions, treatment errors, and safety violations to management. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service delivery and implement corrective actions. Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures. Ensure continuous education and clinical competency for staff. Maintain department supplies and participate in quality improvement activities. Provide orientation and training for new staff and students. Perform other tasks as assigned by management. Job Requirments: Education: Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications in Radiology is a plus. Experience: 3-5 years in radiology, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in staff and budget management. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, and safety protocols. Personal Traits: Detail-oriented, goal-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple tasks. Other: Knowledge of radiation safety regulations, commitment to continuous learning, and may require a valid driver’s license for travel.
