  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

The Chef assistant is responsible for assisting kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of food. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, helping with food prep, and ensuring that kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation tasks, such as washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Assist cooks and chefs in preparing meals according to recipes and dietary restrictions.
  • Help with inventory management by organizing and storing food supplies.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Perform general kitchen duties, such as washing dishes and taking out the trash.
  • Support team members with additional tasks as needed, including setting up and breaking down workstations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
