Junior Electrical Technician
General
- Prepare & execute work orders for Corrective and Programmed maintenance related to Electrical Services including: Low Voltage System; Luminaires & Electrical equipment; Earthing System-Generator Set; Extra Low Voltage; Uninterruptible Power Supply; Air Conditioning System
- Perform the repairs & maintenance of all electrical breakdowns of the LV System.
- Responsible for the efficient operations and functions of all electrical and mechanical installations and equipment such as Electrical power supply and distribution system, Lighting system, Fire Protection system, Air-conditioning system, Water supply system, and building maintenance services.
- Ensure safety and security of all mechanical and electrical rooms, including standby generator sets, LV switch rooms, Chiller plants, Water supply pump rooms, switch room.
- All other duties assigned from time to time by the superior and/or company.
Legal and Compliance
- Assist the implementation and compliance to the approved quality, occupational safety, health and environment standards toward meeting customers’ expectations and fulfil all regulatory requirements.
Financial Administration
- Assist and monitor all Electrical related operations expenses against budget.
- Review and suggest initiatives to support healthy income and introduce cost savings in relation to Electrical equipment.
Procurement and Management of Vendors
- Assist the superior in managing service providers and contractors on site to ensure quality service provided throughout the contract period.
- Review work schedules, service level agreements, reports and scope of works to ensure the highest of standards are maintained at all times.
Building/Site Management
- Advise the superior on Electrical registration matters and legal processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory acts.
- Manage and ensure comprehensive Electrical records and systems are appropriately kept and filed.
Customer Service, Communications and Stakeholder Management
- Assist the superior in ensuring all customer communications are responded to and resolved in a timely manner, via established channels and recommends ways to enhance operations to avoid repetition.
- Assist the superior in resolving all customer complaints and issues.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Conduct regular walkabout within the assigned project and identify areas of concern that affect the workplace safety.
- Assist the superior in continuously reviewing and resolve all site quality, health, safety & environmental issues, ensuring all communities remain compliant with regulation, certification and UEM Edgenta company standards.
Management Reporting
- Ensure all reports or performance data including all supporting information and materials are prepared on a timely basis.
Team Management and Coordination
- Ensure high standards and performance of manpower resources and to ensure high levels of commitment and focus on delivering results.
- Ensure a cohesive working synergy between all team members and resolve quickly any inconsistencies and issues as they may arise.
- Provide frequent regular and accurate performance feedback to team members for continual improvement.
Technology and Systems Implementation
- Use the Edgenta Smart Connect and ensure accurate data to reflect Portfolio operational outcomes.
- Apply and maintain technology use as initiated by the company in managing the site.
Able to be started on May 2025.
Qualifications:
1. Possess good knowledge in Building services that applicable to high rise residential, commercial and or mixed development.
2. Possess good interpersonal skills and able to maintain effective working relationship.
3. Fair oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Computer literate.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
