- Responsible for procurement in the precision manufacturing industry, including raw materials, mechanical components, tools, and fixtures.
- Develop procurement strategies and optimize purchasing processes according to production plans and requirements to ensure timely material supply.
- Develop, evaluate, manage, and maintain suppliers, establishing long-term and stable cooperation.
- Monitor procurement costs, conduct cost analysis and control, and drive cost optimization and efficiency improvement measures.
- Follow up on purchase orders, manage delivery schedules, and coordinate exception handling to ensure procurement progress meets production needs.
- Ensure procured materials meet quality standards, work closely with the quality department to handle quality issues and defective product returns.
- Research market trends, seek new supplier resources, and assess industry dynamics to enhance supply chain competitiveness.
- Negotiate and sign procurement contracts and supplier agreements, ensuring that purchasing terms align with company interests.
- Comply with company procurement policies and standards, ensuring procurement processes meet ISO or relevant certification requirements.
- Diploma or above, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Procurement Management, or related fields.
- At least 3-5 years of procurement experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in precision machining, mechanical manufacturing, or metal processing.
- Good communication skills in both Mandarin and English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
- Strong supplier development, price negotiation, cost control, and contract management skills.
- Proficient in ERP, SAP, or other procurement management systems; strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Analytical thinking: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
