Job Purpose

  • Manage Tax related work for the relevant entities within the Group. This shall include corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, capital gains tax, etc.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing corporate tax computations and returns, which includes liaising with accountants and tax agents for information required for tax compliance purposes.
  • Assist in reviewing provisional tax computations for the purpose of revised tax estimates.
  • Assist in reviewing withholding tax and service tax filling
  • Assist in liaising with IRB on the tax credit set off/ refunds/ appeals.
  • Assist in attending to tax queries during tax audit/ investigation.
  • Assist in updating the transfer pricing documentation for the Group.
  • Assist in ad-hoc tax projects by conducting initial tax research
  • Monitor and manage tax updates, laws & regulations, and share appropriate information with accountants.
  • Manage the administrative task, process and system related to tax
  • Perform other assigned duties as & when required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Tax or Economics
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant Malaysia tax experience, ideally gained within a Big 4 professional firm or preferable in Property Development / Real Estate Industry.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, be proactive and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
