What you can expect:

As a member of our team, you will engage in key activities including:

  • Implementing security capabilities, processes, and tools to strengthen application security.
  • Partnering with development teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from architecture and design to implementation and testing.
  • Providing security requirements that align with company policies and standards.
  • Maintaining security standards and guidelines to address evolving threats, technologies, and best practices.
  • Assessing new security threats and vulnerabilities, analyzing their impact, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Exploring opportunities for process improvements and innovative approaches to enhance security effectiveness.
  • Promoting a strong security culture by advocating best practices and reinforcing security awareness across teams.

What will make you successful?

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Typically has 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience.

Proficiency in all areas listed below is not required—strong experience in some, with a growth mindset for the rest, is what matters most.

Technical Skills:

  • Identify security controls and requirements to be implemented based on business needs, classification, threats and risks
  • Security controls can be related to:
    • Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or related container platform ecosystems.
    • Cloud based services SaaS/IaaS/PaaS
    • AI and LLMs
    • Web Apps, APIs, Mobile Apps
  • Secure coding practices related to OWASP top 10, security testing processes and tools SAST, DAST, SCA, API testing
  • Vulnerability management and impact analysis COTS, Containers, Open-Source dependencies.
  • Automated security testing in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of Agile and DevSecOps principles

  • Self-motivated and adaptable, quickly learning and adjusting to evolving technologies, processes, and customer needs.
