TEXTILE KNITTING SPECIALIST

1. Research & Development: o Conduct in-depth research into emerging trends and new technologies within the textile knitting industry. o Innovate and develop new knitting techniques and processes to improve fabric performance, aesthetics, and durability. o Explore alternative fibers, yarns, and knitting technologies to create sustainable, high-performance textiles. o Work closely with other R&D team members to integrate new findings and designs into production capabilities. 2. Quality Control & Assurance: o Develop and implement comprehensive quality control systems for knitted fabrics. o Design testing protocols to evaluate the strength, texture, elasticity, and wearability of fabrics produced. o Analyze product performance and adjust knitting methods to meet product specifications and industry standards. o Identify areas for continuous improvement and work proactively to maintain product consistency and quality. 3. Process Improvement & Efficiency: o Continuously evaluate and refine knitting processes to increase production efficiency while maintaining high-quality output. o Implement new technologies and automation solutions where appropriate to streamline knitting operations. o Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for knitting production processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency. 4. Collaboration & Training: o Work closely with the design, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless integration of new techniques and materials. o Provide training and technical support to production teams on new knitting methods and quality control standards. o Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source new knitting materials and equipment, ensuring alignment with product development goals. 5. Reporting & Documentation: o Maintain accurate records of R&D projects, experiments, and test results. o Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings, new methods, and improvements for management and stakeholders. o Keep up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance in all aspects of knitting and textile production.
